Can’t find what you’re looking for? We may have it available as an e-book, or you could use our request service to order a copy from elsewhere. If you’re a student, you can also check the catalogues of Staffordshire University or Keele University.
Borrowing, renewing and returning items
Most members can have up to 16 items at any one time. The loan period for most items is 14 or 28 days. Items can be renewed as long as someone else has not reserved a copy, and for the first few times will be auto-renewed.
Manual renewals can be made in person, by telephone or by email, or you can use the renewal facility on the Shropshire Health Libraries Catalogue.
You can return items to a member of library staff, use the self-service terminal, or place in the Book Returns box. Books may be returned to any of the Shropshire Health Libraries. You can also return items by internal or external mail (at your own risk).
Items reserved by another reader that become overdue will be charged at £1 per day. Note that if you accrue £10 in total late return fees, you will not be able to borrow or renew any items until they are paid off.
You can reserve books that are on loan or on the shelf across Shropshire Health Libraries using the reservation facility on the Shrophire Health Libraries Catalogue.
We will hold reserved books for five working days for collection, or you can request that they are sent to your workplace.
