The bulletins aren’t exhaustive, and lots of new evidence is being published all the time in journals and elsewhere that isn’t included. Library staff can carry out detailed searches to locate the latest literature, either in relation to COVID-19 treatment or rehabilitation, restarting services, remote working, or any other topic.

New edition of the Royal Marsden Manual is now available online

The Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures provides over 350 evidence-based clinical skills procedures related to essential aspects of a person’s care from handwashing to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, based on the latest research findings and advice from clinical experts. The 10th edition for 2020 is now available.

With COVID-19 in mind, there is a whole chapter (Chapter 4) on Infection Prevention and Control, which includes procedures around PPE, hand decontamination using an alcohol‐based hand rub, and isolation procedures.
